Orphaned references in Supernatural (season 3)
[edit]I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Supernatural (season 3)'s orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
Reference named "onfuton":
- From Supernatural (season 1): "On the futon with... "Supernatural" creator Eric Kripke". The Futon Critic. October 4, 2007. Retrieved September 27, 2009.
- From Supernatural (season 2): Brian Ford Sullivan (October 4, 2007). "On the Futon with... "Supernatural" Creator Eric Kripke". The Futon Critic. Retrieved September 30, 2009.
I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 20:11, 3 December 2009 (UTC)

[edit]"escaped from the Devil's Gate will be" - Should explain what the Devil's Gate is the first time it's mentioned. = Peregrine Fisher (talk) 15:45, 12 August 2010 (UTC)
"Lisa denies this, and tells Dean about the saw accident while watching the man's wife and daughter, who have been acting strangely." - Is she watching at the same time she tells Dean about it? - Peregrine Fisher (talk) 20:17, 12 August 2010 (UTC)
- I removed it. Ωphois 20:35, 12 August 2010 (UTC)
"and is told that Sam must die due to his inhuman nature" - Should it be "who tells him that Sam should die because of his inhuman nature"? I can't remember who tells him what.
- Either phrasing conveys the same thing. Ωphois 03:43, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
"but Dean arrives in time and uses the good luck of the rabbit's foot to incapacitate them." - Clarify how he incapacitates them? - Peregrine Fisher (talk) 03:31, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
- Added in "with a pen and TV remote". Ωphois 03:43, 19 August 2010 (UTC)

Ratings
[edit]The ratings source currently in place already covers the ratings for all the episodes. Separate references for each episode are unnecessary and redundant, since the one in place consolidates them all. Additionally, by using ABC Medianet, half of the ratings would be unsourced since ABC Medianet doesn't cover them. Ωphois 20:55, 31 December 2012 (UTC)
- Half of the ratings aren't unsourced, 4 of them aren't, which i am looking for the 4 ratings.. It's not unnecessary or redundant. if all of the seasons' have it what makes this season so different to have this one source? It's also not just this see, all series that have proof of ratings have different rating sources for every episode. --Tvlover96 (talk) 21:04, 31 December 2012 (UTC)
- Sorry, overestimated. It is unnecessary, as one source already summarizes them all. And instead of waiting until you could be sure that there were sources for each episode rating, you erased what was already in place and left four unsourced.
- There is no need to balloon the ref section. Sources used between articles don't have to be consistent. The reason ABC Medianet wasn't used in the first place was because they don't cover all of the episodes of season 3, thus we found a single source that verifies the entire season. The reason most pages use ABC Medianet is because ratings are added on a weekly basis, and there usually is no reliable source that then summarizes them in a list.
